Official language

The official language of the General Assembly 2021 (vEGU21: Gather Online) is English. Simultaneous interpretation is not provided during sessions. It is therefore expected that authors are able to present their research more or less fluently in the English language. We aim to provide auto-captioning to help attendees without a native English background to follow the sessions.

Registration

The online registration through credit-card payment stays open during the course of the vEGU21: Gather Online event days. Therefore, attendees can register on short notice to enter the sessions and make use of all services of the meeting.

EGU online information desk

The EGU online information desk is available during the main vEGU21: Gather Online session hours. General questions and information will be given to attendees, presenters, conveners, and chairpersons through text-based chats. Of course, Copernicus Meetings' email support is also ensured. Insurance

The organizers cannot accept liability for damage to private property (e.g. PCs, notebooks, smartphones), which may be incurred as a result of the participation in the vEGU21: Gather Online sessions and software tools. Participants are, therefore, advised to arrange appropriate internet security.
